i got home today with my new lift bolts and i get the exhaust on in fine but the intake lift bolts broken idk what to do please help me will this be covered under warnty
yea i think it should be covered by the 60k mile warranty. just take it to the dealer. I took mines but they told me nothing was wrong. I didnt bother dealing and arguing so i just bought a pair of new bolts. I still havent put them in yet. Hopefully they are not broken
ii have the same problem. I'm gonna try to extract mine by myself, but its alittle tricky. If you dont want to bother doing it yourself bring it to the dealership. If covered warrenty, they should do it for free. Dont say you opened the engine though. Just tell them that you dont feel lift or say its not as strong and that your afraid that the lift bolt(flange bolt) might be broken. Bring them the TSB as well. Just make some kind of excuse and argue with them b/c they'll most likely give you a hard time. Just make a commotion.
if you breing a TSB from toyota and tell them that you would like this problem fixed because you no longer feel lift then they must fix it...if anything talk to the manager, and tell them that they'll just have to deal with corporate!!! Corporate toyota doesn't play around, and if they give out a TSB, then under contract, the dealer must honor it!!
well i tred to drill an extract it but it dosnt wanna come sooo im just gonna drive it my buddy whos a machienst tryied didnt get it out so if any thing happens as in like the motor blows then ill just get it toed n they can solve the problem
