Squeeks at cold start then goes away once warmed up. Then eventually just gets worse a squeeks and squeeks just idling. Sprayed belt dressing and went away.

mine is a 03 with 6,000 miles on it. could it possibly be going bad already? i cant describe the sound, but it does sound a bit like a high pitch squeak, especially when just starting to accelerate.

Mine was an 00 at 52K miles. It was the worst sound I have ever heard. Just match it up to an old beatup Ford truck. Sounds exactly the same, a POS. It would get so loud when I drive around that folks would turn their heads to take a look at my car. Even the Toyota mechanic clowned me. He said there was a "Big ass bug" in my car, haha.

I'd take it in to the dealer, but I think that the tensioners were only bad on the early years like 00-02.
