it doesn't say on the ticket?
I got 80 in a 65 in NV. I don't think he liked me so he made it $200. So I just took it to an attorney who reduced it to a parking violation and I payed $100 for the ticket and nothing for the attorney since he did it pro bono.

I got a 90-something in a 65 and had to pay only $180 - I guess it depends on if the cop is feeling generous or not...

Are you required to show up in court? In CO, 20 over is a 6-8 pt ticket. Depends on what the pig wants to give you. I got a sixer, but went to court, took a course, dropped it down to 2 pts and a 240 dollar fine.

I believe there is a formula that varies by state...e.g. 0-20 mph over speed limit = $100 base + $5 each mile over the limit. 20-30 over the limit = $200 base + $7 each mile over the limit...et cetera, et cetera et celica grin

Damn, I pulled over for 60 in a 40 but the cop put down 54 in a 40 so it would not go on my license and he said the fine would be the minimum. It ended up being $120 bucks.
