i gota 03 gts n i put a new cd player in few weeks ago n just realized that the lights around the shifter n the cigarette lighter as well as the lights around the ac knobs when i installed the cd player i had 2 hard wire it and they havent worked since then prob is i found 2 wires that make the lights go on but they do not go off when the car is turned off if anyone has wiring codes are nething that can help me get those lights to work and go off when the car does like they should please help

Or does your head unit just stay on since you hard wired it?

sorry it was kinda confusing i was in a hurry but the problem is everything works perfectly fine the cd player even the orange light on my power window button the only lights that do not work are the ones around the shifter the cigarette lighter and the 2 lights around the ac knobs n i found that if you wire the blue n yellow stripped wire with the white with green stripped wire all the lights do work but they do not go off when i turn the car off i dont understand what would make it do that or why me messing with the cd player would effect those lights

tap splice the two white wires coming from the cig lighter.

i think im fucked i called the dealership n they said they wont look at it because i voided the warrenty and i dont think i can guess which wires they are theres only bout 500 of um in there i dunno wtf to do if anyone has nething that would help please let me kno thanks

alright im seriously getin pissed now my damn cd player dont work i rewired it 3 times now n still nuthin i dont understand what the hell is wrong somebody please help
