Are the lights not going off here...
"the lights around the shifter n the cigarette lighter as well as the lights around the ac knobs"

Or does your head unit just stay on since you hard wired it?

Go here to fix it...GTS Wiring Codes

sorry it was kinda confusing i was in a hurry but the problem is everything works perfectly fine the cd player even the orange light on my power window button the only lights that do not work are the ones around the shifter the cigarette lighter and the 2 lights around the ac knobs n i found that if you wire the blue n yellow stripped wire with the white with green stripped wire all the lights do work but they do not go off when i turn the car off i dont understand what would make it do that or why me messing with the cd player would effect those lights
