I would have never got the aem Intake if I new there were such dangers. Now, every time it rains I get worried. What are the chance of this happening and how does it happen. My Intake filter does seem to have water on it when it rains, but how much water is going to fuck it up?

I just got in from driving in the pouring rain here in Jersey. I drove through same rather large puddles and slight road flooding. It's nothing to worry about unless the filter is submerged in water or you like to use your car as a party boat.

there ya go. download the short video in that thread. im sure 99 percent of everyone will tell ya theres little to no chance of hydrolocking. but take a look at that video and see for yourself. not worth the risk i think.
