I'm guessing you didn't disconnect the battery before you undid the MAFS.

That, or something is not plugged in correctly.

yeah i think its all loaded up.. and i have taken the negative cable off and re-hooked it up, and it'll reset then come back again. so you think i should get it checked out by a professional?

Get the CEL code read at Autozone. If it's P0171, then the Intake is causing the problem.

Injen Intakes have a reputation of causing CELs on Celicas, especially GTS'. There's a chance that it's just the Intake, and getting something like RMM or K&N could fix the problem, but it could also be your car's sensors are too sensitive (or other peoples' cars aren't sensitive enough). This is why a lot of people get bogging and CELs with their Intakes, no matter the brand. You can try the other two Intakes i mentioned, or try this mod on your Injen:

new celica.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=127861
(remove space between new celica and paste into new window)

It has a 100% success rate with everyone who has tried it. If you don't feel like cutting up your Intake, you can also wait for TPR's SRI to come out. It (and all TPR Intakes) has the modification in the above link integrated into it, so it can't cause any bogging or CELs. You could also get the TPR CAI, since it can convert into an SRI for when it rains.
