As the topic says: How much will I be able to lower my celica with SKUNK2 coilovers? I've looked around, and all I can find about them is a general description about the coilovers stating that they "allow for a drop of up to 3 inches".

I need to know how much you can lower the celica with them.
Anyone know? Do they allow a 3" drop both front&back?

Thank you very much for answering my question.

Are you happy with them?

i am because they make the car handel better than spings, (ive driven a Celica with the Eibach sportlines, Tiens, and TRD). Some one told me that the Skunk2s and GCs were better for performance. Also it was good that i was able to raise of lower my car when ever i wanted to. ...OK now to the cons...like anyother coilovers and sleve type coilovers they are bouncy. If you do get them your gonna have to replace your stock shocks with some performance shocks that with be able to handel the Skunk2s higher spring rates. I heard that Koni Yellows were the best and that if you wanted to lower more than 1.5 inches you would have to get them customized from a shop. Ive been running on Tokico Blues for a while already and havent had a problem at all. But all together im really happy with them..ive had them for almost 2 1/2 years or so and they been good. SO if you want to sacrifice some comfort for performace then by all means.

i got the tein basics...its the full setup including the tein coilover and the shocks...its super good..i lowered my car over 2 inches and my ride quality is as good as stock and my handlings way better...u might pay a lil more but its totally worth it...cuz in the end once you buy the skunk 2's and the new shocks itll prob be the same price...but this way you get the TEIN quality...i got no complaints and with these you can also raise and lower ur car as much as you want like the skunk 2s
