Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior what's the best way to do this?

i've got a sheet of that chicken wire stuff that i'm going to use for a grill in the bottom of my trd bumper. its chrome now, and i need it to be black. do i just use flat black spray paint? is it neccessary to use primer, then spray 2-3 coats of paint, then clear? or can i just spray the hell out of it with just the paint?

Get it powdercoated. Paint will chip away in a few weeks.
