I have an injen Intake and a TRD exhaust, what kind of headers should I get? I'm looking for more lower end power.

What kind of Intake would you recommend for mid engine power? I'm looking more in the acceleration end, not top speed.

I find this hilarious because you even quoted his question. LOL. Second I love how everyone already says to get a TPR header when it hasn't even been proto-typed yet. I would love for there header to make some impressive gains... But until I see some dynos I trust no one.

What kind of Intake would you recommend for mid engine power? I'm looking more in the acceleration end, not top speed. TPR has proven to make low end slightly better than AEM (the previous low end king ) and the best midrange power out there (beats AEM and Injen). Top end is also impressive (neck and neck with Injen). I have an injen Intake and a TRD exhaust, what kind of headers should I get? I'm looking for more lower end power. injen bogs low...aem or tpr for joo One he is asking about Headers...not an Intake. I find this hilarious because you even quoted his question. LOL. Second I love how everyone already says to get a TPR header when it hasn't even been proto-typed yet. I would love for there header to make some impressive gains... But until I see some dynos I trust no one. The TPR header will produce more power than Trial/TRD/DC just by design. It's a real 4-2-1 header, not a theta pipe design like those others. It will be optimized to produce midrange and top end power. RSX guys are getting 10-13whp with their race headers, and only 3-5 with the regular ones (just like us). Here's a pic of what the TPR race header will look like: And a pic of the TRD header (which is the same style as Trial and DC): You can see the obvious difference. Plus, the TPR header will include anti-inversion primaries (keeps exhaust pulses moving forward instead of returning to the combustion chamber), and spots to tap for EGT sensors. BTW, besides TPR, all Intakes bog in low end on some cars, so not even AEM is perfect.

Blue Bomber, what is the price looking like for the TPR header? Also are the Intakes still for sale cause I'm thinking I want one if they are made for the GT.
My car is gunna be 10x faster than yours...haha... I'm gunna buy like 10 of those speedchips! I figure if 1 gets me 20hp then 10 will get me 200hp!

TPR is doing a great job. With the whole set up I/H/E what gains can a gts expect? What would be the price for the whole set up?

Blue Bomber, what is the price looking like for the TPR header? Also are the Intakes still for sale cause I'm thinking I want one if they are made for the GT. It's planned to be around $500-600 with midpipe, but nothing is set in stone yet. Where can we buy the TPR Intake? i haven't even seen tpr stuff for sale, where do you get 'em? The Group Buy forum at New Celica.org. Eventually, you'll be able to buy them from TPR's site (which will be up sometime next month). TPR is doing a great job. With the whole set up I/H/E what gains can a gts expect? What would be the price for the whole set up? Aiming for close to 200whp (240hp at the crank). The TPR I/E already gains about 20whp, and the header should gain 10whp when added to them, plus the midpipe should tack on another 3-5whp. Is that a pic of the brashboy header? When will you start proto-typing? It's a Toda race header for the RSX-S. Hopefully, prototyping will be started by the end of next month. Gotta wait for the Intakes to be squared away first.

It's gonna be close. Should be at least 190whp with the I/H/E, and even more with the midpipe. Kinda hard to tell, since nobody has a race header on a Celica yet, so we still have yet to see how the car will react to the restriction of the stock midpipe vs the free flowing TPR midpipe. Keep in mind the Kazuma catback gains about 10-15hp more than the average axle back, using just the stock header...

will it be smog legal and for the gt also? I wish. For the intake they need $7000 to start the CARB approval process. Same for the header I assume. Anyone want to fork up $14k for TPR? Start a collection fund, hehe?
I get my kicks on EC.
