Celica Forums General Discussion General Extracting broken lift bolt

So around a week ago, i found that one of my lift bolts was broken. I tried to get it out with like alittle magnet, but it didnt work. After reading about lift bolts, some people suggested that i drill the broken piece out. So i bought a small drill bit and a reverse drill bit from sears. I was thinking of extracting the broken piece tomorrow. However, it seems alittle risky. I'm open for suggestions. Should i drill or should i try somethign else. Thanks in advance

use a stronger magnet...

If your confident and ready to fork out hella big bucks to get it rethreaded if you slip a little, then go for it.
If not, take it to a shop.

A MAGNET? WHAT?

The thing is threaded into place. The only way to get it out is to unthread it; a magnet can't do that. A reverse threaded bit designed for removing broken bolts will do the trick.
