I was thinking the other day.. for those who red out their stock tails..

[Linked Image]

which i've yet to do ^^

I was thinking getting another bulb holder the same one used in the brakes.. and sticking it into the turn lamp assembly..

then tapping in the wires to the approriate location to

1. make both Brake / signal light turn on when brake is pressed..

2. make both Signal/ brake light blink when turn signal is used.

3. have both Brake/Signal light be on as a parking light..

you think it would look nice having two bars lit up ?? when pressing the brake, turning, and having parking lights on confused

i just hope taping in would do what i want...done tongue

wtf yah i can.. i mean look at the brake light itself it doenst stay on all the time? unless you have the parking/lights on..

but i guess i'll try this route seeing as i dont have an extra set of brake light bulb holder/connectors as it does use a different bulb since it has 2 filiments inside one for parking one for braking..

so if i did make #3 happen i'd change the bulb/harness.. happywink

for now i'll try out just having the brake/signal work as a

1. braking --> with both signal and brake on...
and
2. signal --> with both signal and brake on...
and
3. parking lights --> stock wink probably be better like that too at night tasty

i know wat you mean...never seen it on celica's but i have seen a lot of them mostly on the older versions of eclipse. goodluck btw you think you can do the front ones??? like have the signal from the headlights relay with the front sidemarkers instead of the just having the markers stay on all the time???

i dont think its a good idea. when you holding on the brake, then the blinkers basically dont work and ppl behind you cant tell where you going. unless the original lights are still gonna flash

it'll just work like mustang tail lights then? IMO thumbsdown only for safety reasons, b/c it might be a bit hard for people to catch the blinking (especially while you're braking)..say a very very slow old person. same w/ 95-99 eclipse tail lights. i'd rather have all the lights separate where it's more obvios which side is blinking.
sure is a sweet idea and would be interesting to have sumthin different like that...at least it'll be legal. i've seen riced hondas w/ the orange flashers lit up as tails get pulled over for them, because all tail lights should be red in the back. so go for it n show us how it goes.
