Looking to get a cold air intake but don't know which one to buy. Does anyone have some dyno results on both?

go to newcelica.org
when you get there click on other at the top and you'll see a link that says "dyno list"
click that and it's got a bunch of useful dynos.
btw, i suggest any Injen intake.

Basically, Injen CAI gives out more power in the higher rpm's, and AEM CAI gives out more power in the lower rpm's. They are both great intakes, but like TRDGTS014 , i'd suggest to get the injen.

I say it depends if your car is manuel or automatic. If your car is manuel get the injen cause it gives more HP at high RPMs for when your racing and you shift gears and your RPMs go down you'll still be in lift, and if your car is auto then get AEM.

The AEM bypass valve dosen't work on the celica.
I was going to buy one but the only place they can install it, is not going to do the job to keep the water from going into the engine. I would get the Ingen CAI if worried about water getting in engine. Ingen has a heatsheild that can block the water and I think the CAI comes in two peices so you can adjust it. I live in Tucson, AZ so i don't really have to worry about water.

You don't need to worry about it unless it floods. What you want to do, is tape the holes on the wheel well splash guard, and don't drive in any deep puddles. I have driven through some really bad thunderstorms on the highway and in the city, no problems. The only way it will hydrolock is if the filter is completely submerged, so if it floods, you should get a different intake otherwise you are cool.
