I would have a professional tint windows because even though it's not hard ... it takes some talent and skill to get it on the first try.

Plus someone that has been doning it for a while will have no problem doing the rear window in one peice.

Otherwise try this link for basic info

http://www.diynet.com/DIY/article/0,2058,632,00.html

and here for more advanced info

http://www.tintdude.com/install.html

and here's a great place to buy tint

http://www.autowindowtintings.com/main.cfm?action=home

also :google: is a great resource. Keywords "auto window tinting help"

I would have a professional do it. But if oyu do it yourself, I recommend you having some patience. I put on my vinyl overlay, and that was frustrating. Patience is a must. Good luck.

I have done a several cars now and its hard but not impossible. Get easier with each window you do. Take your time and use those websites Rice gave, they are right on the money.

I would get it profesionally done for 2 reasons. 1- better work and 2- warranty

my thoughts exactly.. that warranty can be pretty worthwhile

Warranty I agree with, that is a plus. As for "better work", as long as you take your time, do it right, and use quality film no one will ever know you did it. I aways get asked how much my tint cost, I tell them "$50, I did it myself."

werd! Some States you can't tint the side windows at all, like Cali, Virginia, so on.
