my heating system only works when the car is moving or if im reving the engine...basically its blowing out cold air, but when i rev or the car is moving heat will com out...can anyone tell what could be wrong. and is it gonna be expensive to fix?...need help thanks!!!

Your probably low on antifreeze, add the right kind to the bottle under the hood.

Your probably low on antifreeze, add the right kind to the bottle under the hood. check your water, seems that ur not getting enought water through ur accumulator... does your car run hot?

well basically i cant just turn the car on and let it warm up..the fan works fine it blows out air.. but not warm air of course..only time heat coms out is when i rev or the car is moving..and once its stops moving it eventually goes cold again..i think i'll check the antifreeze..i dont kno which kind to put in tho?????...ne otha problems it could possibly be???

isn't accumulator part of A/C system? and celica is not using accumulator.
how offten do you flush the coolant? If you have never done that (in the right way), the heater core may be clogged in years.
