I have a question & im still confused on what I could or need to do. But anyways ok my car is still under the 100,000 mile manufacturer warranty. And i currently have 50,000 miles on the car. My question is because its still under warranty and I want to have my car inspected for any problems at the Toyota dealership, will they charge me for just inspecting my car? Even though its under warranty?? I ask because these stupid car warrantys always have some sort of weird way of how it works. Or for you know for them to inspect the car does there have to be a actual physical problem with the car? I mean basically I just want my car to be in tip top shape

u could prob. go in and tell them you hearing some type of noise (make it up, like rattle noise r something) and they'll see if they can duplicate it...and if they're coo, they mite check out the other stuff...hopefully goodluck

Everytime I took my car to get something checked, Unless its something that they know is wrong with the car then they will not charge you, but if they have to tear something down, like a tranny or engine, then they will tell you that they will charge you an amount if it is not covered. They automatically knew that my MAF sensor was not working so they just told me to pay $50 deductable and thats it. I would call the dealership and see if they would check at no charge, but I doubt it.
Everybody from Ecelica ROCKS!!!

If it is still under Toyota's factory warranty you don't have to pay any deductable. If not then extended warranty will cover it but the only draw back is you have to pay certain amount in deductable. Lucky you your's was 50$ because my deductable is 100$. However I had an incident with my radio at 35590 my radio just stopped working. I brought it to the dealership and it took them 1 hour to figure out that the problem was the "connector was separated" they said that it's no cover under the factory warranty because there was nothing wrong with the radio. I insisted them and told them that it's not my fault...Buttom line dealership wants me to pay the stupid inspection and connecting the so called "loose connector" but I insisted and finally got my car back free of charge... Those stupid dealership service makes me for al the they make in order for them to make money out of you
