The Corolla XRS is a 4-door sedan, and its tuned down to limit its potential. Seriously, no one buys this car for pure Performance. It also has the same torque as a GT. I wouldn't be surprised to watch a GT win.
Take what you will, but the GTS generates 130lb-ft of twist at 6200 rpms. Toyota slightly redid the engine, and the XRS puts out 127 lb-ft of torque at a lower 4000rpms. Redline is still close to the same. I feel that with some strap on mods, an XRS could give the GTS stock a run for its money on the straightaways. Skidpad results are just shitty.
