Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior step 2 step guide install 4 TRD exhaust?

does anyone know where i can find instructions on how to install the trd exaust on the 00 gts? do i need gaskets for this?

I believe the included gasket goes between the tip piece and the exhaust peice. NO need for a gasket between the exhaust and the cat piece. Get underneath, if you jack it up, use jack stands. Spray some WD-40 on the rubber hangers on the stock exhaust and pull the metal part of the hanger out. Then push the new ones in (sepearetly) put the gasket in between and bolt everything up.

yeah it is really simple, but remeber to put that wd-40 on the rubber hangers or you will never be able to get the stock exhaust off, and yes the gasket goes between the muffler and the exhaust tip(the peice comes with the exhaust)
