Why is there a ton of engine mods for every import car except the Celica GTS? I've found lots of mods for every other Toyota car and truck but only one SC and one turbo for the GTS. The SC seems to have very little HP and the turbo is still a prototype. What's taking so damn long!? When I bought my 03 GTS, I was sure there was going to be a good amount of mods for it but boy was I wrong. I've checked every mag, store and web site I can find and no luck. Can someone point me in the right direction because I'm having a hard time here. Thanks

it's not just you, the fact is there aren't as many aftermarket engine parts for the gts as for other cars. One problem lies in the "lift" technology. It's more difficult to mod because of the way it is designed.

Unfortunately, if you want a turbo, you either have to get a gt or wait for the gts one (if one ever comes out)

I have the APR GT300 body kit. I'm having it sprayed next week but it's not going on until I get some WillWood rotors and calipers as well as the custom 19" Racing Heart rims. thumbsup

THE XS turbo does well for the GTS. Or you could slap a supercharger and nitrous on.

And you are able to buy the turbo.

the GTS engine is much more advanced than others and has a high compression making it hard to work with.

SO if i really to mod a car more..a GT is better to have then? I see discussions on this all the time but there is always and even amount of reason's to either get a GT or GTS. so i guess it just depends on whatexactly you want to do with the car. oh man..so confused..brain hurts..must stop reading

yep...it is a personal preference...not something you should ask us...we will give you the benefits of each...then it's up to you to decide. Both are GREAT cars!

I sent e-mail to Wilwood regarding this and I'm still waiting for a reply. On the lighter site of things, M.A. audio has just decided to sponser my GTS, SWEEEEEET thumbsup

Your not kidding, it's costing me an arm and a leg. I Think I'm going to sit back and wait to see if anyone puts out a better turbo, the XS only gives you about 255hp when installed, that's only 15 hp more than my other car. I'm looking to push 300+ without using NOS if possible. wtf
