ps. i was really going to wait till i get my wings west to go wingless.. but since this BS is happening should i go ahead and try going wingless now?

Actually according to Meguires and Mothers, you should wax any dark colored car 8-12 times a year.

My car might be slow, but at least it looks nice!

you can't wax too much, but you can OVER wax, as in buff the shit out of the clear coat and break it down.

I used to wax my car at least 2 times a month, shined great even after 4 years.

The problem, is people use too much wax, and have to really buff it to get it out, and it ends up wearing it down.

Go wingless, looks good. grin

I don't personally like wingless...but i'm not saying it looks BAD...it's like asking vanilla or chocolate or somethin like that...it depends on what you feel like doin with ur car...and what ur style is...wing and wingless both can look equally impressive if done right IMO

Yea I had the same problem and it just got worse in the florida rainstorms so I just got it stripped and repainted professionally. I thought it was just my car but apparently not. The shop that repainted it said that whomever clearcoated it probably didn't let it sit enough or bake enough so it didn't bond with the paint correctly. Or something along those lines. Either way it looks brand new now.

the spoiler wasnt in that bad of shape to begin with, but i kinda like the spoilerless look since ur car has such a small profile.

Not a wingless fan, but it doesnt look bad with your setup. Try using Meguires new wax on the bad spots...

Introducing Meguiar's Next Generation of Technology...Engineered Synthetic Polymers (ESP) NXT Generation Tech Wax is unlike any car wax you have ever tried before. Nothing even comes close to this amazing product. If you're planning on entering a car show or cruise or just showing off, you won't want to be without this product.

Here is what this awesome product will do:
- Your paint will be darker and richer and the shine will be the deepest, clearest you've ever seen.
- New ESP (Engineered Synthetic Polymers) technology creates a tougher, polymer bond to your paint so it can provide extreme protection.
- Engineered to eliminate those fine scratches so you can have a flawless finish.
- Glides on and off easily.
- You'll be surprised how easy it is to reveal your dazzling, new finish.

Stuff is a little expensive, but I tried it a while ago and I wont use anything else. Make sure you use a buffer with a good soft sponge pad and cover on it.
