Today, I was told that in Japan the 7th Gen Celica came with an AWD drivetrain. Is this true?

Ok thanks. I didn't think it was true, but I just wanted to be sure it wasn't.

A guy that brought his Celica into my dad's bodyshop to have the APR GT300 kit installed, so that's why I thought he may be right.

that guy is full of shit. just because he can afford the APR wide body kit, he thinks he can go around saying that his celica is AWD, to make it even more better than other celicas. thumbsdown

It had a 1000000000000000000000HP JDM motor
10 wheel disc brakes
0-60 in .00000000000000000001

it was 1337

He may be referring to a 4 wheel steering version I've heard of, but that may be BS too. I don't remember where I read that, it was a couple years ago...

the only ones i've heard of are the rod millen, and the 6th gen gt-4. someone may have made one, however. i saw on tv a guy the converted an integra type-r into rear-wheel drive so he could drift it, so anything's possible.
