the only red ones i've ever seen were a crome color... and that was the metal finish - not the actual blade

I tried those once on a whim when I had my escort, the aluminum assemblies were incredibly well made (not like those cheapo plastic wipers), but those silicone wiper inserts SUCK!!!
at first, they work awesome, better than rubber ones... but the silicone is so soft, they go super fast! Like a month after installing, the insert's blade was seperating at the flex point... I don't know where APC gets off saying they outlast rubber ones. Sure, mabye in california where it warm and all you get is rain, but in illinois, where you get snow, ice and cold for 1/4 of the year... you get the idea.
Funny thing is, I installed them in the fall, and they failed before winter.
Avoid those things man, unless you just want the skeleton. the insert's are worthless.
Even toyota factory inserts, outlast them, toytota inserts last me about 9 months or so.
