i bought a switch for my Cold Cathode lights in the foot well. the switch i bought is smaller then the rectangular hole made for switches. what did you guys do to make the switch fit? do i have to cut those pop out things so i can put the switch in that? any suggestion?
i'll post pics later tonight.

"cut those pop out things" do you mean the plastit tabs? I just drilled through the plastic. Depends on what type switch you're using. I put a basic rocket switch that would fit and just screwed the switch through the back of the hole I drilled so it will hold in place. All depends will see what it looks like when you post up them pics.

nice pics. but the switch i have is rectangular. and smaller then plactic thing. i have to drill a hole in it, then some how shape it out as a rectangle. i didnt have time to do that yet. so i just used electric tape and taped around the switch to fill in the gap. it looks ghetto as shit. haha but it'll have to do until i get time to cut in the plactic piece.

If its that tiny there is a square hole in the right side of the ash tray/crap holder that you can hide a swich in. I wired mine up to the light on the cig lighter so when the interiors come on so to the ccl's, and i can turn them off with the swich if i want to.

When you do get time.. drill a hole in it.. then take a file and file away  just keep test fitting it till it fits right..  edit*** or if you want  ...Since you have no time ...and since i'm planing on changing my switch seen here..the silver on/off one..you can Have this one.. just send me your blank one and i'll send you this one... pm me.

talk about back from the dead.. seesh i posted this back in sept. everything is cool now. i was able to drill and sand out the hole for the switch. thanks anyways
