not so bad unless you really look at it but the average person i think wouldnt notice anything wrong. if the price is only a bit less than Vis id go Vis.

Be sure your hood is NOT propped on the pole during your test fit, this distorts the shape of your hood during installation.

Did you take sandpaper to it? In most cases, there was probably additional Fiberglass laid to the scoop - this is intentional, and is easily sanded down to an even finish and an excellent fitment with a few strokes of your bodyshop's initial sanding.

sandpaper, spatchula & putty... the low-cost tools of the professionals

this is usualy done by the professional who will paint (and install) the scoop for you

I just bought a full pillar pod from him and the quality was far from good. When it got here it was cracked and repaired half-ass the gauges dont fit in the pod I had to use filler to fill in all the holes in it. I just heard much nicer things about them and am very dissappointed in the piece I received. If I had a business this piece would have never left the shop until it was at least finished. thumbsdown thumbsdown

OK, after reading the above... I'm officially going to step out of this now... grin grin

except for one last comment - before doing any modifications to the piece you received, contact them ASAP and see about a replacement.

I got a hood scoop to mine had a minor flaw but the hood cannot be proped up on the pole when you install it. I have a gap just large enough to slitly slide a peice of paper under thats not bad at all thumbsup

well my hood scoop looks like it fits great. but i can see where the back corners dont quite sit on the hood. Only notice it at night when im driving cause i can see it real well with the headlights. But i figure if only I NOTICE then its ok!!!
