I wanna know what different thing you would do as far as Performance go rather than looks. What wheel sizes and body kits and wings and engines upgrades would be better for Performance rather than for looks?

i think 17 ligth weigth is ok, and a thin Fiberglass kit
and then drop in a Turbo thats good for looks and preformance, you cant do mutch other things than Turbo if you wanna go preformance

1) there isnt any body kits or wings that are gonna qualify as true Performance. the Kaminari kit looks good and is not too restrictive so I would say it would be a good choice if you want the look.

2) light weght 16"s like the SSR's or similar would be a good way to go.

3) depends on whether you want to go N/A or F/I.

F/I you can run a decent amount of power on the stock internals so that a plus. it's not gonna be cheap.

N/A Definitely not going to be cheap. and it's not going to get you the kinda power a Turbo would.

If you're truly into Performance then pick-up a cheap pair of like 15" or 16" steelies to run on with some slicks if you're just going to drive on the track or something comparable to slicks. No body kit, lowering the car around 1.5" (too much won't be beneficial) and if you're just going on the track get the Kazuma exhaust, or get the TRD exhaust which is street legal and gives the most gains other than the Kazuma. Then go for flywheel, pulley, your choice of air-intake type and remove what ever from your car you like.

if you're really serious about Performance, get a body-kit like Chris Rado's for $8500. tongue

I disagree. The celicas Performance is "suposed" to be on an auto X course. NOT on the drag strip. Yes, I know your car is fast on the drag strip and you want a little downforce/resistance as possible..
But for auto X /Track driving the celica cold use more downforce. Especially over the front wheels where we need to transfer power to the road in the turns. The Trial kit provides good downforce and so does the GT300 body. That thing was actually bilt in a wind tunel and is supposed to be the most un restrictive and provides excellent downforce.
