Her insurance should pay for it if it was her fault.

My car is gunna be 10x faster than yours...haha... I'm gunna buy like 10
of those speedchips! I figure if 1 gets me 20hp then 10 will get me 200hp!

Dude, how are you not sure if her insurance is going to pay for it? If she hit you, she should be covering the damage.

This was about $2,000 to repair and two weeks of $37/day rental car while it was being fixed... other person's insurance had to pay for it (since I wasn't even in the car when the minivan backed into it)

Good luck with your car - I hope it doesnt take too much cry out of you

You guys wanna hear some shit...In Michigan they have "No-fault Insurance" which means if you are in an accident no matter what happened your insurance pays for your car, and their insurance pays for their car. That really sucks, especially 2 days after you get your drivers license and someone rear ends you at a red light.

I DON'T KNOW HOW BAD THE DAMAGE IS, BUT I HAD A SIDE IMPACT. DAMAGE WAS ESTIMATED AT 4 GRAND (thats in pounds) BUT THE REPAIR GARAGE SAID THAT THEY'RE ORDERED 8 GRANDS WORTH OF PARTS AND ITS STILL NOT FINISHED. THE SIDE AIR BAG PROBABLY WENT OFF, THIS ALONE COSTS OVER A GRAND TO REINSTALL. THE LEATHER THAT COVERS THE HEAD REST AND STICHES AROUND THE AIR BAG COST 850.00 ALONE. LUCKILY MY INSURANCE COVERED IT, BUT IF YOURS DOESN'T THEN YOU MIGHT BE BETTER OFF CUTTING YOUR LOSSES AND BUYING A NEW CAR.

THE GARAGE TOLD ME THAT FOR A RELATIVELY COMMON SPORTS CAR, PARTS PRICES ARE UNBELIEVEABLE AND HARD TO GET HOLD OF. THINGS MIGHT BE DIFFERENT IN AMERICA THOUGH, FINGERS CROSSED.

SO HOW BAD IS THE DAMAGE? ANY PHOTOS? THE SIDE PILLAR TOOK A LOT OF IMPACT IN MY COLLISION AND HAD TO BE CUT OUT AND REPLACED. FAIRPLAY TO THE GARAGE THOUGH, THE WELDING JOB WAS FACTORY FINISH. THEY SAID IT WAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE NEW WELDER THEY HAD IN THAT COST 16,500. I HAD MY ACCIDENT AT THE RIGHT TIME.

HERES MINE
