Is it any bit difficult to install the body kit by yourself? keep in mind that i have no pervious experience on body work. Is it possible to undertake this job on your own? what about paint job? do places like SEARS or anywhere sell the paint and equiptment to paint your own car? I want to concentrate most of my money for engine work so i want to be able to "save" as much as possible on everything else/

If your gonna go engine ... dont get a body kit until you wish to get it professional done.

In my opinion that's the best way plus you'll be the happiest with the outcome.

last weekend I put on the rear bumper, this weekend I put on the front bumper. I corrected all the fitment problems myself and my kit fits on near perfectly. I shaved it down in some places and cut pieces off were necessary. I had help putting the front on and it took about 5 hours to get the fitment right and all the adjustment having to pop the damn hood about 50 times checking it and getting it perfect. For the rear bumper It was me and about five 1 gallon paint cans holding the rear bumper up and I got that fit on as perfect as it could get myself. The only flaws are ones that are in the body kit that shaving cutting and sanding won't fix. All in all its a good job. I'll be putting on the side skirts next weekend and refinishing the fiberglass and touching up some spots were I gouged fiberglass or chipped something. So basicially I think if you have very good patience and one or two people helping you and some free time its possible to get it on your self if you've never done it before. I'm living proof because it was my first time doing it and just today alone while at work at least 8 people told me my body kit was tight. The only thing they didn't like was the fact that it wasn't painted, which by the way im doing the weeekend after next...just kidding. The paint is done professionally no questions asked. Now instead of paying 500 for everything i'll pay to get an ever better paint job. Later.

Thanks Isacc! I'll take some pics of the kit on the car as it is unpainted. The most frustrating part is dealing with that damn huge mudguard that goes under the wheelwells and engine. I need to find a way to fit that on.
