Check out IgnitedPerformance.com that's the one I use. Very simple install has not messed up yet. Had it for 3 yrs not reccomended for manual cars. If you do install one on a manual just make sure you don't start & stall only bad side.

Yeah not a big problem though just start it in neutral whenever you roll out. Another hastles is you'll have to get rid of the cig. lighter. since it normally uses that area to mount. Unless you want to mount it in a different location that'll work to. Also you can re-locate the cigarette lighter by re-wiring and extending it to wherever you want it. I have put the starter switch in place of the cig. lighter since I believe it is the best place. I'll post pics later.

Thats funny, I actually just finished installing mine yesterday after seeing this GREAT guide from Bing in New Celica.

Well, guys... i tried looking for one for a while but gave up because I haven't seen any pictured one. Bumped into a thread today and got more info, so I went experimenting myself.

Step 1.

Take off the shift part out by turning off shift knob. Then just pull the plastic cover upwards. Best place to pull is at the window switches.

Step 2.

Take off the power wire for powering up the lighter. Shown in next picture.

Step 3.

Turn this ring off like a screw, that's holding the cig. lighter module firm and tight against the plastic dash.

Step 4.

Take the cap off that surrounds the cig. lighter module.

[Linked Image from home.zonnet.nl]

Now you will have this left:

Step 5.

Pull the cig lighter module from the other side out.

And there we go... we've removed the cig. lighter from our dash.

Hope this was useful for you guys. I ordered the Ignited Push Engine kit and will install mine soon. Will do a writeup on that too, you will be needing this to get it to fit nicely.

Like GOLDCELICA said, installing the Ignited Push Start Button is EASY. It literally pops right in and the connection is a piece of cake. If you need more information or pictures of the wiring or the Ignited Push Start Button let me know and I will post some since I have it out right now. wave

I've had mine for several months now...haven't turned the keys to start the car since. Still not sure why you'd say it's not recommended for manual transmissions? confused How could you stall the car? I start my car in neutral all the time...despite what I supposedly learned in drivers ed, I haven't left a standard car "in gear" for six years when I've parked it and no problems.

Exactly one reason why I say it's reccomended not a biggy tho should come common sense to people other reason if over starting more then once. We all know how that would suck.

Nice Pics stun.

Some people think just pushing the button will start up the car right away. You can wire it any way you want don't get me wrong but if you want to be safe you should wire it the recommended way. I wouldn't do it any other way unless you specifically want it start up directly allowing anyone to push away.

1. On a manual or auto does't matter it's "reccomended" to wire the button switched to the e-brake so when you turn the key in the ignition it acts as a safety feature so you don't over start and start "twice". The switched e-brake allows you to disable the starter button when the e-brake is depressed. Lowering the e-brake then turning the key and depressing the clutch is how it will start (The starter will just crank and not turn the motor if the clutch is not depressed). This is how I have mine wired. You can have the button switched however you want it.

2. If you don't want it switched to anything you can directly wire it and bypass the e-brake part and have the starter turn the car on by just turning the key to the on position. Then push and start the car.

3. Direct - always on no key in ignition. Just press and go.

Pretty much this is just a starter button. The new switch Ignited has designed now have the L.E.D. lighting so you can see it at night if you mount it somewhere in dark places.

^^^ Mine is not setup that way. On mine the key still remains as the main way of starting the Celica. However, I have the start button just to mess around when Im trying to show off. Basically, one replaces the other depending on the way I feel like starting up, it just a different way of starting the Celica. I guess mine would fall under the 2nd example that GOLDCELICA gave...
