I'm not sure about the pricing...I'm still looking into that myself.

I'm getting the same body kit that you are so good choice thumbsup...

Here's a link to www.racerwheel.com [racerwheel.com] for the kit.

http://www.racerwheel.com/exterior-body-kits-toyota-celica-2000--up.html

But no you won't have to repaint the whole car...you can just get the kit painted (which shouldn't cost that much)

Good luck...hope this helped... wave

Personally I'm getting 18" rims...haven't decided yet on what ones to get...but I'm leaning toward a style like this...

i'd go with an 18 inch wheel for both the veilside ec-1 and the ffgt kit. you don't really have to paint the whole car if it's an 03 because you're paint probably hasn't started to fade much yet, but if you have lots of chips and swirls, i'd go ahead and pay out the extra to get it all done. at my body shop we usually charge anywhere from 1800.00 to 2500.00 to paint all over the outside (not inside doorjams ect.) and install a body kit. the higher price is for cars with kits that fit horrible, but the veilside kit should fit next to perfect so expect prices in the 1800 dollar range. thumbsup thumbsup

can't wait to see your finished project.

it's all about taste really...

But my plans are to get the rims first, then the bodykit, and move onto lowering the car 1.1" with the TRD springs, and then get my exhaust...

I'd go with that kit... even the genuine Veilside have had fitment issues so replicas must be a nightmare

Get the real thing but get rims first! Dont get too excited with the kit. People say its one of the lowest sitting ones so you should get bigger wheels first.

CroCeli,

I am not sure with the Veilside on the Rim/Tire sizes but I just got my body kit put on last weekend. It is the kaminari, and I paid $800 to have it painted professionally - but this of course, was from a "freelance painter" that does great work. We mixed the paint at Napa using the serial number of the car, which includes the factory codes (just in case there is a slight change in paint color from factory to factory) and it turned out perfect! Of course, I can tell a slight difference because of the Fiberglass - but the other parts on the car that are factory (and Fiberglass) match EXACTLY.

INSTALLATION WAS A PAIN IN THE A$$!!!!! Even though it was rated "10" for installation! My dad and boyfriend spent almost 8 hours putting it on - there were no predrilled holes... and they had to come up with a lot of "solutions" for certain parts. But they're both perfectionists so there is no gaps - it's seamless. My dad owns a shop, so we had access to a lift and everything. I can't imagine how much it would have cost at a shop??

It's not the best photo but I'm attaching
AND YES - those are stock tires/rims i'm workin on it! smile

drop the car with springs first, then wheels, and lastly get the kit. as for the kit, i have a authentic veilside kit and installed it myself. it was about a 4 on a difficulty of 1-10. i have 18x7.5 with 215/35/18 and there is no rubbing.

i've decided to get the original veilside FFGT kit because the celica is a bit square and that kit is a bit rounder so itll make the carr look rounder adn i like that better.. and im going to put those tenzo drivex-7's on they are 18x7.5 so it should fit.also what exhaust systems work well and sound good?i want a deep sound not a high pitched thingy that sound like a honda motocycle.i was lookin at the HKS hiper and Blitz extended exhausts.
thumbsup also nice work with the body kit spidergirl.when r you going to get rims?

best bet is adjustable coilovers if you dont wanna scrape
ive scraped a couple of times and yes i have to go driveways and bumps at an angle
and forget about one way driveways your not gonna make it
