You are paying more for the TRD name, than you are the filter.

EDIT:

And I assume that you are talking about the air filters that fit in the stock box, not a CAI or SRI, because TRD does not make those to my knowledge.

why do you want this filter? Performance or just cz its TRD?
if you want Performance, you gotta get a CAI or Short Ram. if you want noise, then remove ur butterfly valve.

What exactly is this 'butterfly valve' you speak of...and will i have any problems if i remove it?

sometimes you can find someone here selling a used one.. for about $25 buy that instead then save up for an Intake thumbsup
