I have changed my DRL lights soo many damm times, but I still get that nasty yellowish tint duing the day and it PISSES ME OFF.. I hate that like you wont beleive..makes my celi look normal and ugly, specially because its silver,, clashes baaaaad...lol...What 9005 do I need to get, from what brand will it actually look white... I got xenons and yeah they r brighter but still yellow as hell..I dont need bright during the damm day!!!!!!! I need white..SO PLEASE someone gimme info on bulbs they have that are white duing the day, I might just disable DRL alltogether if I cant find these but I like the white look during the day and early evening, it spells classy car

ok maybe I got this wrong, its not the wedge bulbs but the 9005's, I have these xenon ones with a blue tint, but once they r turned on, hoooooly crap, the yellow comes out to play... my wedges r hyper white led's and trust me, they dont get much whiter than those,...

FOGS (H3) are obviously on the bottom
HIGHS (9005) are in the big area
LOWS (H7) are in the circle area

Isaac

Ever notice how your fogs never quite match your upper lights...I think its the casing of the stock foggies..What you think?

ok and back to the main question...

here are the lights as I see em

H4 (194/168 )- wedges - run during the day
H3 foggies - on by command
9005 - Headlights - High Beams - run automatically only during the day <--- these are the ones I need to find ...I have em with blue tint but like I said, duing the day when they r actually on, yellow as hell...Isaac, none of your pics r showing the 9005 in action,
When you start your celic duing the day, the only light thats on is the (9005) and this is the one I need to find that does not glow yellow.. Sorry for all the confusion... thumbsup

ok...

I know the H7 r low but they r in a casing of their own..
all im sayin is that I have not found a pair of 9005 which run as the DRL to be white in color when turned on and running on low wattage...When used as high beams they r white but during the day in DRL mode, they nasty yellow...do the mtec's run white on low wattage aswell, ( as in DRL mode)?

the reason why they are still yellow during the day is because your DRL's only run at 40% of what they are capable of. So they cant emit their full color. i have the same thing, but hey man, if you dont want yellow in ur DRL's why dont you just do the mod that turns off your DRL's?

i would advize against getting HID high beams for your drl's. running your HID's at 40% could be very bad for them. just dissable them.
