Chrome Tail Light Modification

I got an APC Altezza tail light and i want to paint the housing (i think thats what its called) black to match my car. Are there any guides or suggested paints to match the color well? i would GREATLY appreciate it

You can take them apart i've done it. Same way are baking the headlights except for the tail lights you have a to be a little more careful. If you overbake you will melt the lense. Look up the procedure here on Ec.com on how to take apart the headlights it is exactly the same way. thumbsup

Do the APCs come apart? I know I've seen instructions several times on taking the TYCs apart and painting them. I assumed the APCs couldn't be disassembled.

I actually tried that once (heating it in the oven) and ended up buying a new set because the lense melted angry
