Ok i still have problems with my fog lights, i don't know how to make them to turn on. So i guess i am missing a step.

Can someone help understand these steps?
"3. The open end of the Ted wire should be connected to the low beam (for fog lights) trigger wire which should have a positive(12v) signal when you turn on the vehicle's head light switch. Use a test light to identify the trigger wire which can be located right behind the vehicle's head lamp unit. If your vehicle use a negative trigger signal, then you need to connect the Red wire to a switched power wire such as parking light or side mark light wire."

Ok, guys, what is the trigger wire?? How do i know if it is positive signal or is negative?

Next step that i don't understand.
"4. Use the supplied quick connector to splice the Red wire with the trigger wire"

What the hell is that?

I have a gt and it did't come with fog lights, so i have to installed fog lights with the wiring kit. The fog lights i have are the Navigator NV-602W, which a lot people recognize them by the walmart lights

Help guys, i want to make my fog lights work.

The low beam trigger wire is going to be the wire that has positive voltage, only when the low beams are on.

In other words, the trigger wire is going to supply power to your low beams, therefore, when your low beams turn on, your fogs will turn on (but I assume that you can turn them off with a switch).

You can also try and tap into a 12v constant such as the red wire that goes to one of your parking lights, that way you can turn the fogs on/off, even when your low beams aren't on. wink

Tapping means, connecting.

Let's say you have wire #1 and wire #2.

If you tap wire #1 into #2, that means you connect it to #2.

You can buy a taping clip, or splice it into it by cutting wire two in half, peal back some of the wire covering, and then twist wire #1 into it. You can use electrical tape to secure it, or a little cap that twists over the connection.

I would seriously consider having a mechanic install it.

I wouldn't even know how to do it exactly.

Switches and relays aren't my thing, but I can do them. I'd be afraid of messing it up though.

Not sure. I'm pretty sure that you do not already have a switch mounted in your car though.

Did you see two wires with connectors that don't go to anything, one on each side of the front when you take off the bumper? If so, then it is already wired. If not, then it is not wired.

i think so, i have to take the bumper out tomorrow and check, because i already have the switch. if the case is that all the wiring is there, then i have to figure it out how to connect the walmart fogs to the wiring in the car and then on the inside make the connection of the relay and the switch.

anyone know what can i use to connect the wiring that is already there with the fogs??

You don't even need to take the bumper off to see the wires. At least on the drivers side you should see two wires...one I'm not sure what it does and the smaller one I believe is the fog light one. Look through the hole that's to the left of the fog light hole and you should see a couple of wires.
