Broken Lift Bolts

Just a couple of questions. I've nnoticed heaps of threads where people talk about broken lift bolts. I'm assuming that there is almost no chance of breaking a bolt of you don't hit lift, am i right? Also, what are the chances of breaking a bolt? There are heaps of threads on here where people have been screwed over by them.spineyes

If you never hit lift, why own the car? That's like saying if I leave it parked in the driveway, my brakes will never wear out. confused
