Hey guys...I am thinking about getting the GT300 Widebody and was wondering if you guys could give me some basic info on it...

Does it have to be molded at all to the car? If so, does anyone know how much a body shop would ask for such a task?

Would I have to get the whole car repainted if it called for the molding?

How would I approach getting rims for the car? Such as a lip...what would I look for when buying them?

Thanks guys...if there's some question that I'm leaving out that you think that I should know before purchasing it please let me know...because I'd like to be on top of things before I actually go ahead and purchase this.

As far as I know, the kit is completely ready to be painted and attached. i believe the fenders are completely replaced. It comes in like 10 pieces, or something like that.

As far as the wheels go, that could be tough. The APR Celica has 10 inch wides in the rear with I believe 0 offset. Look into finding the specs on that car, the APR GT300 Celica. Then find matching wheels.

dont forget suspension also you cant be riding in stock suspension. as far as i know you need some good coilovers.
as far as paint it will look better if you repaint the whole car coz blending it will look off
as far as wheels i dont know also but make sure you do your reaserch first
i can tell you this expect to pay 10-15 G's to make it look great and drivable happywink

You will have to repaint the entire car.

going wide is never easy... expect to pay a lot more than you thought. Of course, once it's completed, the project is well worth it

yeah the kit should run around $3000, the body work and labor another $5,000 - $6,000 including repainting the entire car, and then whatever for a new suspension, and either wheel Spacers or $2000 for new wide rims

if you want something darker, go with royal sapphire pearl as was previously suggested... you won't regret it - that color is beautiful to behold in person
