as smrat as some of us are here at ECelica...if I were you, I'd pick up some c00kies at the store and head on down to your local Toyota Service dept. or other trusted garage. they can check your CEL code(s) and see what the problem is. good lck grin

*edit* the c00kies are obviously for the service techincians, although nobody is stopping you from snacking a little on the way over. nobody believes me when I say this, but godamn, if someone brought their car to MY shop and had c00kies with them, I'd sure as hell try to fix their car, instead of "pretending" to care, like I do with 110% of the things I have to deal with in life.

Yeah, your clutch is shot, and you need to replace it ASAP.

Keep it below 3k RPMs for the time being though.

Clutches are only a couple hundred dollars. Labor for installing it is often 4 times that, especially if you get it done at a dealership.

I would look around, cause I got mine done by my gf's dad for $300, and that was including the $250 clutch.

the best price you can get for the clutch and its labor is 300-450. i know ppl that do it. an ok price would be around 700, and a ripoff would be near 1000
just goto local shops and ask everyone of them how much theyd charge for the part and install. if its 400 then jump on the opportunity
