Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Autometer Oil Pressure Sending Unit

I was trying to install the sending unit for my Autometer oil pressure gauge, and the damn thing never wanted to bite (got dark so had to quit). The stock unit looks like it's a little tapered on the end but the new one's not. Didn't want to strip my threads. Anyone done this? Is there a trick to it?

U need to get a special part from auto meter in order to work.
