I hear the S40 without the t5 is pretty good engine. The impressive figure is the 170lb-ft of torque at just 1500 rpms. That's hella crazy.

s40 look best imo (of the volvos)
but you cant just take every thing in one grab and just say all volvos are safe the reason she sayed it is probbly becuase she has seen a volvo crash and the other car was totaled and the volvo was just a little bend on the fender , but that dont mean that the driver in volvo ended up with less damaged. it just have a stronger chassie becuase it was an old car. a lot of new cars have soft chassie or somthing so that when it bend the chassie it will losse a lot of power before the power hit`s you.
and the celica got 4 of 5 strats in teh ncab test with the new stronger rules and the toyota avensis was the first car to make 5 stars with the new rules
and anyways if she wannt a safe car i dont think you will get the sport model and packed or anything grin

Even the T5 is impressive...all that horse, roughly 270 and 250 ft-lb, apparently wihtout a hint of torque steer. Torque steer is a bitch.
