Celica 96 vs a sentra ser 2002

what things do you people think i would need to beat it...the dude has Injen CAI, wires, short shifter and claims he has cams on the way...im sure i can beat him with out buying a lot of stuff for my car, i was thinking on getting Intake, clutch, flywheel, and short shifter but if you guys think of anything thats not too expensive that would help thx
