I have progress technology springs. 1.6 drop in the front and 1.8 in the back. My mom got a ticket for my tint driving my car. She said the cop couldve gave me a ticket for my drop i was like wtf? so im not sure. Also, when i take my car to chp should i bring the legal papers for the AEM\TSRM? or do you guys think that it wont be necessary.

well if it was just a ticket for the tint i dont think the legal papers for the AEM will be necessary. all you would have to do is show the cop that you removed your tint. its only like 10 bucks for the fix it ticket.

you don't have to take off the front window tint of your car if you don't want to. you just have to go to court and tell the judge that you would rather pay the fine. i think its like $120. you can still keep the tint grin

about the drop, "yes" you can get a ticket for your drop if the cop is really hard on you.

Your car is only illegal if the lowest most part of your frame is lower than your rims.

you're from cali. everything is illegal.

1.6/1.8 doesnt sound bad, unlike the 2" drop from eibach's sportlines...
though there is a certain height that your car must have, other than that, it's illegal.

No shit? I just thought the rim law was the only law against lowering. Didn't think there was an actual height guideline.

Back windows?

For height?

Or tint?

Your headlights have to be a minimum distance from the ground. They don't care how much clearance your bumper has as long as the lights are more than the minimum distance from the street (I think that it's 18" in CA).

well..wat if you have 18's or 19s w/ really low profile tires..r they gonna let ur car sit 1" above the ground? i don't think so...i guess there's more than one law to a vehicle's suspension. i have heard about the rim law from a real chp though. the rest is just articles and documentary.

yo arash ask isaac about how you can keep your tint
i remeber him posting about tints a while back
it something along he lines of getting an extention on your court date(which is about 6 months or so)
if you get pulled overe within the 6 months just show the cop that you already have a court date and then after just pay the fine(which is cheaper than getting it removed and replaced

i think it was somthing like that thumbsup

I think that all depends on where you live. My car is only 4inches from the ground and I have yet to be pulled over. I can lay a soda can on its side and I still can't clear it. shocked Now thats low.
