When I went to the shop yesterday to fix my allignment, I asked them to install my springs to. They were kinda like are you sure all you need are the springs. I was thinking they should know that if anything, so I had decided to bring the question here. If it is a 1 1/4 inch drop, all I need are the springs, right? Not struts shocks or anything, Is this correct?

what mileage do you have on the celi?

... if it's greater than 50-65K then I'd get struts as well. Less than that you're safe getting springs only

^^^^^yeah I was wondering the same damn thing!!!! I have 30k on my celica and I have been dying to order the goldlines...but have been afraid that I need new shocks / struts with them...so I guess I should be ok for like another 25 - 30000 miles with the stockers if I go ahead and lower it huh?

Is yours more than 50k miles?

i`d recommend to get the struts installed along with the springs so you dont have to worry about it in the future. just buy the whole set now rather than blowing the stockies, paying for parts and have it fixed thumbsup
