Hey guys, well today I just got my allignment checked and fixed for 50 bucks. But they now told me that my two rear wheels got fucked from the allignment, the showed me, my back tires are wavey as hell. Now they said I should replace them as soon as p[ossible, but I could either buy new tires now with stock rims or wait until I get enouph cash for new rims and tires. I dunno when I will be able to get new rims and tires. Should I just spend the extra miney on new tires or should I wait till I get new rims? What do you guys think? confused confused confused

Temporarily, I would do rotation, put them in the front, and burn out to even the tread tongue

Yeah, they're right. Actually you'll prob. get a nasty shake in your steering wheel from the un-even wear. That sucks. My sister refuses to fix her alignment on her Accord and she goes thru a set of 4 tires in about 3 months!!! So it could be way worse.

It would be so much cheaper just to get her allignment fixed. I kinda wished I had checked it as soon as I got in that accident. cry

Its probably the sub box & amp in the hatch causing your wheels to tilt inward. I had the same problem, it work flat spots in the inside of my tires.

If the tires aren't worn out you'de better wait until you've saved some money and buy new rims and tires. You are already used to that shakey driving I guess. The alignment doesn't really make that problem worse or better. If you buy new tires now it will be a waste of money if you buy new rims in a few months. But of course from here I can't see how bad the condition of the tires are.

I cant even notice it, to me they look like good tires. Maybe toyota was just trying to get me to spend, But the shakes should be from the tires right?

the vibration could be caused by un-balanced tires.

Yep, that's right. Your tires aren't equally worn.
I have the same problem. The alignment is okay now, but I have still a little shaking while driving. I'm getting used to it grin
