whatever colors the S7 gauges light up (blue, red, etc) is what you get. the LCD screen that shows your gas level, oil temp is not changed. the S7s are overlays, so they only go on top of your existing gauges. AC Autotechnic has new "color changing" S7s but they aren't available for the Celica yet. to change the color of your LCD info you'll need to purchase LEDs to change the color to blue, red ,etc.

The only pictures I have seen for the s7 gauges are for the GT. Do they make them for the GTS? How do you all think it would look if I just kept the orange lcd and needles?

OVERLAY = THEY LAY OVER/ONTOP OF YOUR EXISTING SETUP...

They do NOT change your LED color... they sit ontop of your current gauges like a table cloth would sit ontop of a wooden table happywink

The light that you see is the light that comes from the gauges - this is why the gauges need to be plugged into an electrical source.

take a close look at the pictures that are posted in this thread grin

because they were really hard to get... I kept putting in order for a batch of 100 pieces and they usually took 3 to 6 months to get in stock... Most of the time though, I was told by AC that they really didn't know when they were going to get another batch - so I'm stuck with 50 orders and NO CLUE as to when they'd be in stock again... (the manufacturer would have no clue)

This was a sign that the manufacture didn't care - especially on a routinely large order of 100 pieces each month. So we stopped selling products that came from AC Autotechnic... simply because the availability status updates from them were inaccurate/unreliable.

...

The other reason was because they had discontinued the Reverse Indiglo EL GAUGE style and replaced it with the S7-3D GAUGE style... many Celica owners were having problems with their gauge needles getting stuck on the raised gauges - this was a design flaw. The product looks nice though thumbsup

...

I have two sets of Reverse Indiglo gauges left (1x GT and 1x GTS), but I'm waiting fer my girl to get her Celica out here so it can be installed if she still wants happywink

I'll likely be purchasing mine form Silver Image Racing...check out their site HERE [http]. Their prices are really good and they have a number of eBay auctions for even lower. thumbsup

After looking how the s7 gauges come i was wondering if you can buy just the silver surrounds with the speed and tach and then overlay them over some other white faces thaat wont light up that center circle.

^^^ it wont work... look at the first few pictures I posted. The reason why the silver surrounding pieces light up is because of the LARGE BRIGHT pink circles under them... I posted pictures to show that the silver surround pieces actually have transparent parts that let the pink/red lighting from the gauges shine through thumbsup
