Hey guys, I have a little question I wanted to ask. I want to get a muffler put on. But at this moment I don't have enough money to get a catback, but I want something that sounds louder and deeper than the stock exaust, you can call me a ricer, but whatever. Basically what I am asking do you think I should get a muffler off ebay, since all I am after is sound, and not Performance, well not at the moment at least.

Here are a couple of examples, tell me if they are worth it.

Muffler 1 [cgi.ebay.com]

Muffler 2 [cgi.ebay.com]

Tell me what you think.

^^

Yeah, and the first one looks really cheap. Why is it changing colors like that, because of the heat? confused

if you gonna get the muffler, you might as well get custom pipe for it..i'd pick the second muffler..the first one look gay..i wanted to do that..get a universal muffler and get custom pipe for it..estimated to be around 100-150..which is not too bad..

By the way guys what do you think about this one?

aight guys you convinced me, now, how much would I be looking at if I decide to get TRD, and how much do TPRs run for.

By the way, it's a 00 GT if that helps.

Thanks.

Or you could get an Apexi N1 system, since you have a liking towards the exhaust tips. thumbsup

The blue thing is a flamed tip. Its just for effect, not from heat. Tanabe Ultra Medallion has one, too.

spend the money and get a trd. I have had many differnt exhaust systems on cars. Trd fits right up it is all stainless. and the craftmenship on that fucker is great. Plus the gains are great and unless you have your foot in the gas its not that loud. Really loud exhaust dont make you car faster they just say that you are a little kid that needs some attention. Get a trd and you will feel that you got your moneys worth.

From the Dyno's, TPR seems to make a helluva lot more HP is some places. I'd get the TPR.

or look at it this way. your stock pipes are like garden hose. a muffler is like a fire hose. it's like connecting the fire hose to a garden hose... thumbsdown
