Going to try to drill out broken lift bolt piece but I think the shaft may have rotated moving the broken piece out of allignment with the whole. If it is can the shaft be rotated with out doing the hole TSB? I mean could you grab the shaft with vice grips and rotate it with out pulling the chain? Any ideas?

I wouldn't risk scoring the shaft with the vice grips.

Can the shaft be rotated with out removing the timing chain and cam? I was thinking I could get to the back end by removing the oil control valve and if there is a slot in the back stick a flat head in there and turn it as needed? Suggestions? Ideas? Prayers!!!!!

Put a socket on the main pulley on your motor & rotate clockwise until you reach TDC. thumbsup
