After doing the LED swap on my stock GTS stereo, I went to put it back in, and I could only find one wire harness to connect to the back of it, and there is an opening on the back of the stereo for another one.

Is there another one, because I've been looking for the past 20 minutes and I couldn't find one. If there is one, I'm guessing that it fell behind the dash somewhere.

I'm praying like hell that there is one though, because although the stereo does work, it doesn't light up.

So either there is another harness, or I need to reverse the polarity of LEDs.

Anyone?

Fuck. I hope that isn't the case, because switching them would be a pain in the ass.

If that is the case, then remind me not to listen to install guides online. wink

I don't understand why there are two spots for wiring harnesses on the back of the stereo then. confused

If im remembering correctly the second one is for a cd changer option, im almost sure of it, you should have 2 antenna harnesses and one wiring harness

Your stereo works. Theres many signal paths on a circuit board, so the LEDs are probably reveresed. cry I remember I chipped off part of my A/C PCB board when changing the center console lighting. My A/C doesn't work, but the heater, defroster and fan still work. Good luck, bro!

Before I go in and swap the LED's around, anyone know what way they need to be for sure? I thought I had it right.

Also, while screwing the screws back into the board to the face, I noticed that there were something like 4 copper screws, and 2 silver screws. Does it matter what holes these screws go into?

I have a feeling that this is how power is transfered to the board since there appears to be no connection from the board to the rest of the stereo, except for the screws.

Anyone know how power is transfered to the board, and where I can apply a multimeter to imitate an artificial power source, so I can see if the LEDs light up without having to put the radio back together, and putting it in the car?
