Don't know if you folks get Wolfrace wheels over in the USA, just wondered if you would give me your opinion on these rims I have been considering smile

I'd rather get the mille miglia EVO's. Look kinda the same, but better.

I don't care for them much either. Sorry. Look around some more and save up a little to get better. You will be happy you did in the end.

I think they look like the wheels that come stock on some VWs.

AGREED

I have to say this forum isn't to easy on people and their wheel choices. It seemed to me some people only like what everyone else has. It's your choice, your style, and your money. Your car should reflect that. I agree I also appreciate opinions but bottom line get what YOU like not what everyone else has. Enjoy happywink

yea, i have found that a lot. Whenever people post pics of wheels on here most people say they do not like them. Everybody has thier own style and tastes.

Wheel tastes seem to differ a hell of a lot between the UK and the USA I must say..
at the risk of going down in a load of flames - these are what I have on my current car.. (not celica)
My Celica is silver, and completely stock at the moment. It has the Toyota 5 spoke alloys, and a damn near brand new set of tyres at the moment, so I have plenty of time to decide on a set of wheels thumbsup

(Edit: I actually think these would look nice on the Celica, but if I have the same wheels twice people will think I have no imaginiation!!)

I know!...and it's not only the rims grin
I live in "The Netherlands" and i have a lot of criticism about my wing on this board (yeah i know i got a big parkbench!!! tongue)...but not that i really mind though, like i said (somewhere spineyes ) before: "Tuning is something you do for youreself, and not for others!"

If you like the rims, go for it thumbsup
Personaly, i would go for something else THESE days...

BUT about 2 years ago, i had some rims that look a lot the same as the ones you want now..except they where from "BSA"...
Here's a picture about it!

Those wheels are ok, not sure about all the detailing round the edge of the rim though.. would be a pain to keep clean! spineyes

I like clean lines really, and I think I am going to stick to silver alloys to match the car cool
(Had never heard of G-Games until you mentioned them.. not seen any over in th UK!)

Not living in the US, I can totally relate to your feelings about the different taste "over there" compared to europe. But it's good not everyone has the same taste.

And as far as people complaining about others giving negative comments: If you ask for people's opinion, you really shouldn't get upset about people might not liking your stuff. If you can't handle negative critisism/opinions, then: DON'T ASK!

Now, for the rims...Here's what I got now:

SMC type "O" rims. 8,5x19 with 235/35 falken's all around.

I haven't made any remarks about people's comments happywink I haven't picked any rims at all, just wanted to gauge what people thought were nice or crappy! at the end of the day, I will buy whatever I like, just interested to see what Celica owners thought looked good on Celicas thumbsup

BTW... 19" rims!! wow!! cool Your car's looking pretty mean there grin

Thanks. Love the 19's myself. When looking around for wheels for you celica: if you're trying some of these wheel machines or wheel configurators that various manufacturers have on their pages (www.rial.de [rial.de] , www.bbs-ag.com [bbs-ag.com] , www.aez-wheels.de [aez-wheels.de] etc etc) enter your make and model as a volkswagen golf MK4. Strangely enough, the stuff that fits the golf MK4 fits the celica aswell (same bolt pattern, and offsets are OK). My 19's have a "golf offset" (30) and fit great. Most sites, when entering a golf mk4 (1998 and upwards in europe...think you need 1999 or 2000 in the US), you get much better results than if you enter a celica. Don't ask me why. Maybe it's got something to do with what the manufacturer approves for their car or something.

Anyways..happy hunting.
