Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Help with my TYCs!

OK, I installed my black TYC's and proceeded to wash my car. When the water reached the lights, it leaked in around the edge and made some condensation around the outter rim of the tail light. I finished washin the car then took the lights out to dry them, but my question is what type of sealant could I use for the edge of the lights?

that's not going to affect anything and will dry out after you wash the car everytime...i had TYC's and that's what happpens, it was the outer edge that was near the body line...

nah it won't, it's sealed so nothing gets in dude...that's just the outer portion of the lens, it's cool..dries out by itself

Yeah, like Billy said, nothing to worry about. If you recall from when you installed them, there's a rubber seal around the inner edge to prevent any of that water from getting near the wiring.
