Ok my patience has almost ran out...

I have a 2k Celica GTS

The Passenger side window rolled down and would not roll back up...

First instinct would say the lift motor is bad... so I pulled the door plastics off and unplugged the cable going to the motor, plasted a Volt-meter on it and a used the up-down switch on it there was no voltage to the motor... so I then figured that it was the up-down switch its self... so I had a friend come over with a 2k Celica GT and used his up-down switch... and that did not work...

So I ended up pulling the driver side doors plastic up... rigging up 2 wires from the driver side window lift motor across the car to the passenger side door and used the driver side up-down switch to roll it up... luckly it worked and i finished that before the rain came...

So after explaining all of that my main question is... if the Motor is good, and the center column switch is fine... what between these 2 items could cause the passenger side power window not to work/recieve voltage...

Thanks a bunch,
Carlos

Sounds like it may be the wire running from your center console to the door that has a break in it. Test the wire continuity. thumbsup

It should. I mean there would be no reason to connect anything else to the switch.

Does anyone know if there is a fuse/relay that controls just the passengers power window??? Or maybe a schmatic of the power window so i can see what possibly went wrong from point a to point b...

Thanks,
Los

check in the gallery/tech section for the repair guide.

There is a section on the power windows.

u got few stuffs to check. check the motor, if any power is getting to the motor. if it got power, that means the motor is messed up cz its getting power but not functioning.
check the switch itself and see if its ok. and then check the wirings if everything is perfect. and then check the wiring socket that connects to the switches.
