ok so i was wonderin about the torque and hp...i know some of you guys were talkin about this before but i want to clarify this...when you guys say stuff like 185 Torque@4000rpm and the redlines say at like 6000...than does the person have to shift all the way to redline or just go from first to second at 4g's??? same thing for hp.. 160 Horsepower@5500rpm...thanks for any help you guys can give me...
The peak torque maybe at 4,000 but you still want to shift at or over redline because it effects where you begin the next gear. If you shifted at 4,000 you will be going into the next gear WAY below the range that gives any horsepower at all.
